Signal is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our web site from any source. This Policy outlines information you may wish to know about how we protect you.

What information does Signal collect, and how is it used?

We collect only the personal information that you supply to us voluntarily. When you inquire or subscribe to our newsletter, you may be asked to supply personal information that includes, but is not limited to, name, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address. If you request e-mail updates from us, we also ask what type of information you may want us to send to you. If you comment or request an online chat, a Signal Specialist, may respond directly to you. We use information we collect about you to contact you about your account with us or other matters relating to your visit, send you information we believe will be of interest, and generally understand how we can better serve you.

IP Addresses

An IP address is a number assigned to your computer or internet-enabled device whenever you access the internet. It allows computers and servers to recognize and communicate with one another. IP addresses from which visitors appear to originate may be recorded for IT security and system diagnostic purposes. This information may also be used in aggregate form to maintain and improve the Jivochat Service and to generate and analyze statistics about  your use of our website.

Does Signal’ use "cookies"?

Cookies are pieces of identification information sent by us and stored by your browser. We use cookies to collect information about your use of our site, such as particular pages visited in order for us to understand how our customers navigate through our site, to better tailor our advertising and landing pages, to facilitate form and purchase processing, and to enhance your future interaction with our site. Will Signal disclose any collected information to outside parties?

Signal does NOT sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Furthermore, we do not share data unless compelled by law. If this policy were to change in the future, we will change this posted policy and give you the option to remove your personal information. We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third parties, but these statistics will not include any personally identifiable information.

Usage Analytics

We use third party usage analytics tools through Google Analytics. More information about how Google Analytics is used can be found here: https://policies.google.com/. To provide website visitors with more choice on how their data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about the website visit should not be sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not prevent information from being sentto the Online Services or to other web analytics services.

How does Signal protect your information?

Any information we collect is stored on a secure server. The secure server software uses encrypted connections for any access necessary to maintain or update the site. Furthermore, all customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
