Pinterest users more like to open their wallets

A recent study by SteelHouse shows users of social media Janey-come-lately Pinterest are 79 percent more likely to buy products they view on the site than users of Facebook are.

E-Commerce News quotes industry insiders as saying that not only are Pinterest users more likely to buy, but what they buy tends to total approximately 50 percent more than the average shopping cart.
