I'm a visual artist and a graphic designer by training, and a marketer by avocation. I discovered, a very long time ago, that I wanted to design on a more comprehensive level after studying systems theory with Bucky Fuller who taught me that good design always seeks a very large whole-system point of view. This learning has served me well over the years. At Signal I get to spend a lot of time thinking about where our business is going and how our industry will be completely transformed in the face of technology.

The business Signal is in today will be gone in five years, in its place will be a new business, clearly related, but very different from the business we are in today. I believe this will be so for most businesses. I'm interested in what remains constant in the face of such change.

Signal makes it's living anticipating and preparing for radical change, we do this for our selves and we do this for our clients. It is my profound privilege that I get to brainstorm with clients about the ways in which new technology will enhance, serve, and most critically, transform their businesses in the years ahead. I love getting inside my client's particular business model, and I can quickly become fascinated learning about the unique behaviors of their particular marketplace. It really is an exciting time for all my clients, and that excitement is contagious, so I have a great job.
