The sophistication of today's imaging tools permits a freedom of design that was unthinkable just a few years back. In print, the process of moving from concept to press has been transformed from a leap of faith to the tangible and very visible evolution of the final product. There are fewer surprises and my work with a client is based on what we are both able to look at and assess.

In addition to print, CD ROM, web site development and other interactive multimedia opportunities enrich and elevate the possibilities for graphic design. The luminous display of the monitor presents images, both static and animated, with the color intensity of stained glass. The addition of sound and the option of cross linking information expand the designers toolbox even further.

This digital environment I work in is complicated and lush and exuberant and malleable and very tasty indeed.
